Well not to be rude or anything, but ZPS is essentially a dead mod. You guys might want to wait for the release of NMRiH http://www.nomoreroominhell.com

I wouldn't say ZPS is a dead mod. Still plenty of people play it. But thanks for the advice. I think we'll still go with ZPS, seeing as how that NMRiH looks like it's got about another year, at least, to go before it's released. Also, from the gameplay video I watched of it... it looks to be another L4D type of game. Meaning no zombie players. At least that's what it looked like to me. I could verywell be wrong or they might plan on zombies being playable but I'm still going to stick with ZPS for now.

The zombies are in fact bots, but lets say if you were to get bitten. Then the infection system they have created would go into effect, and you would then join the zombie hordes, with the opportunity of killing your teammates.

I happen to frequent their Vent server often, and know Maxx fairly well. It will not be anything like L4D. NMRiH was in fact announced before L4D or any other HL2 based zombie game.

Also:

If you've been keeping up with ZPS, Tatsuro is pretty much the only dev left on the team. He sold the mod out to, his gaming company "Monochrome" gaming.

It's true that he sold out. But I don't see the game "dying". As for NMRiH, I have heard some decent things, however, I will leave the mindless killing to Killing Floor and L4D.... (Not that they are bad, per se, but just an entirely different game play then ZPS.)

Question. I only have other source engine games. Is it still compatible with my system? Or do you need HL2? And I find ZPS is only fun if you have awesome friends to play with. But if NMRiH releases, we'll see how it goes!

Im pretty sure NMRiH would utilize any source based game that you have, but the acual game was built off of hl2: dm.

Huh, NMRiH dosent look to bad seems like a fairly nice Mod (Seems really alot like ZPS with a L4D kind of gameplay mixed in) could always be a back up if ZPS was to completely fade out, could always switch over to it if it gets popular or whatever would happen, or when that time might come
